"ನಾನು ಸಂಸದನಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದಾಗ ಅಟಲ್ ಜೀಯವರಿದ್ದರು.  ಎರಡು ಬಾರಿ ಸಂಸತ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದಾಗಲು ಅವರಿದ್ದರು, ಅವರೊಂದಿಗಿನ ಒಡನಾಟ, ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಆ ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯ ನನಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತ್ತು.  ಅನೇಕ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ  ಅವರು ಕೊಟ್ಟಂತಹ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ, ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಂತಹ ನೀತಿ, ವಿಚಾರಗಳು, ಇದು ಬಹುತೇಕ ಇವತ್ತಿನ ನಮ್ಮ ಯುವ ಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿ ಅಂತ ನಾನು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.  ಇವತ್ತು ನಾವು ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನವನ್ನು ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.ನಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ಸಮೂಹದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಸೇವಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾ, ಸಂಘಟನೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.  ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಆಳಿರುವಂತಹ, ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ  ಆಗಿ ಹೋಗಿರುವಂತಹ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅತ್ಯದ್ಭುತ ನಾಯಕನ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಇಂದು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.   ಅವರು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು  ಅಥವಾ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಜನತಾ ಪಾರ್ಟಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಅಂತ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಈ ದೇಶಕಂಡ ಮಹಾನ್ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವಹೊಂದಿದ, ಕಪಟದ ಅರಿವಿಲ್ಲದ, ಕಲ್ಮಶವಿಲ್ಲದ ಮೇರು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವದ ನಾಯಕನೆಂದು!  

ಆದರೆ ವಾಜಪೇಯಿಯವರನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಹತ್ತಿರದಿಂದ ನೋಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಬಾಲ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗು ಹೇಗಿರುತ್ತಿತ್ತೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಕೊನೆತನಕ ಇದ್ದರು.  ಅದೇ ಒಂದು ನಿಷ್ಕಲ್ಮಶತೆ, ಅದೇ ಒಂದು ನಿಷ್ಕಪಟತೆ, ಅದೇ ಒಂದು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾದಂತಹ ಸ್ವಭಾವ.

ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೇ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದರು ಅದನ್ನು ಆ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಿಮಾಡುವವರೇ, ಹೊರೆತು ಯಾರ ಮೇಲು ಸಿಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತಹ ಸ್ವಭಾವ ಅವರದ್ದಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.  ಅನೇಕ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.  

ಮೊದಲು ರಾಜಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ,  ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ನನಗೆ ಹಿಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.  ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಒಳಗಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲು, ಹೊರಗಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲು, ಮೇಲಿನ ಕಿಡಿಕಿಗಳು, ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇದ್ದಂತಹ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು, ಇದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನನಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.  ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು, ಅಂದು ನಾನು ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೆ.  ಆಗ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಕರೆದು, ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಹೇಳಿದರು-

"जंग बहुत लंबा हैं हेगड़े जी, इतना जल्दी छोड़ना नही  है, जंग बहुत लंबा हैं|" 

ನಂತರ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹರಿದು ಹಾಕಿ 

"आज से ऐसा मत लिखना, लिखना हैं तो इतिहास लिखो |"  ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಮೊದಲನೇ ಬಾರಿ ಗೆದ್ದಾಗ ಈ ಪಾರ್ಲಿಮೆಂಟಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳು ನನಗೂ ಇತ್ತು. ನಾವೇನು ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳಲ್ಲ ಬಿಡಿ!  ಬಹುತೇಕ ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವಂತಹ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆ ಪರಿಚಯವಿದೆ!  ಇವತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಂತಹ ಸದವಕಾಶ ದೊರಕಿದೆ...... ಇಲ್ಲಿ  ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆಗೆ  ಸಂಭಂದಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವಿದೆ.   ಹಿರಿಯರು ಗದ್ದಿಗೌಡರು, ಅಶೋಕ್ ರವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು "ನಾವು ಇಂತಹದೊಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ" ಅಂತ, ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿರುವೆ.  ಇದು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಆದ್ಯತೆ, ನನ್ನ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಜನುಮ ದಿನ, ಅದರ ಜೊತೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಸೇರಿರುವಂತಹ ಸುದಿನ, ಇಂತಹ ಒಂದು ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯ ನನಗೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಂತಹ ಅವಕಾಶ ನನಗೆ ದೊರಕಿದೆ.  

ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯದ  ಅನೇಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಬಹುತೇಕ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಇಲ್ಲಿ  ಶುರುವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.  ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ತಡವಾಗಿದೆ.... ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ನೆನ್ನೆಯಷ್ಟೇ ನಾನು ಹುಬಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಅಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದೆವು.  ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಕೇಂದ್ರವು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ, ಆಗ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ನನ್ನ ಹಿರಿಯರ, ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, business communityಯೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ  ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯ ದಾರಿ ಹೇಗಿರಬೇಕು, ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಯುವ ಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಬೇಕು; ಆ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಯೋಚನೆ ಮತ್ತು  ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆ ಹಂಚುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವ ಆಸೆ ಇದೆ.  ಇಂದು ಅಟಲ್ ಬಿಹಾರಿ ವಾಜಪೇಯಿಯವರ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಜನ್ಮದಿನದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೇರಿದ್ದೀವಿ, ಬಹುತೇಕ ನಾವು ಶಬ್ದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಂಜಲಿಯ  ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರೆ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.  ಎರಡು ಮೂರು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವಂತಹ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಯಜ್ಞದಲ್ಲಿ, ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಪಾಲು ಏನು ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ನಾವು ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.  ಮೋದಿಯವರು  ಗೆಲ್ಲಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಗೆಲ್ಲಬೇಕು.  ಎಲ್ಲಿಯ ತನಕ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವಂತಹ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ರಚನೆಯಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಸ್ವಾಭಾವಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನಮ್ಮದೇ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಸಹ, ಅದು ಯಾವುದೇ ಪಾರ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿರಲಿ, ಪಂಗಡವಾಗಿರಲಿ, ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಕೊಡುವಂತಹ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬರಬೇಕು. 

ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಆಡಳಿತ ಪಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷವಿರುತ್ತದೆ.... ಇದು ಸ್ವಾಭಾವಿಕ,  ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷ ಇರಲೇಬಾರದೆಂದು ನಾವು ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅಥವಾ ಆಡಳಿತ ಪಕ್ಷ ತನ್ನ ಸರ್ವಾಡಳಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.  ಹಿಂದೆ ಏನಾಗಿದೆಯೋ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಂದೆ ಏನಾಗುವುದೋ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ.  ಆದರೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೇಳಬಲ್ಲೆ, ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಾನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಕೊಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕು..!  ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಗೌರವ ಕೊಡುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕು, ಈ ದೇಶದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪರಂಪರೆಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಕೊಡುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕು!  ಆ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನ  ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದರೆ ಮೋದಿ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಗೆಲ್ಲಬೇಕು. ಇದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ಜಗತ್ತು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದೆ....!! ಜಗತ್ತು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಪಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.  ಮೋದಿ, ನಮಗಿಂತ ಇಂದು ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ...!

ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಯೆಟ್ನಾಮ್, ಆಸ್ಟ್ರೇಲಿಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿಂಗಾಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆವು.  ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೂ ವಿಯೆಟ್ನಾಮ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಚೈನಾದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನು  ಹೊರೆತು ಪಡಿಸಿ ಇನ್ಯಾವ ದೇಶದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.  ಆದರೆ ನಮಗೆ ಅಂದು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದರು.  ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ "What ever it may be our cultural roots are there in India- ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ  ಬೇರುಗಳು ಇರುವುದು ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ" ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. 

ನಮ್ಮನು ನೋಡುವಂತಹ ದೃಷ್ಠಿಗಳೇ ಬೇರೆ, ಅವರು ಸ್ವೀಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವಂತಹ ಪದ್ಧತಿಗಳೇ ಬೇರೆ.... ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಭಾರತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠವಾಗಬೇಕು.  ಭಾರತ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಭೇರಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಮತ್ತೆ ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.  ವಾಜಪೇಯಿಯವರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು ಹಾಗೆ ಮೋದಿಯವರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಮರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿದೆ, ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಹೆಮ್ಮರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯಬೇಕು.  ಭಾರತ ಮುಂದಿನ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತಹ ನೆಲವಾಗಬೇಕು. ಹಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇವತ್ತಿನ ನಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರಮದ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಬಹಳ ಇದೆ. ಯಾರನ್ನೋ MP ಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ಯಾರನ್ನೋ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ಇನ್ಯಾರನ್ನೋ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಲ್ಲ, ಬದಲಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಶತಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌರವ ಸಿಗುವಂತಹದ್ದಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ಮೋದಿ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಗೆಲ್ಲಬೇಕು, ಬಿ.ಜೆ.ಪಿ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಗೆಲ್ಲಬೇಕು. ಇಂತಹ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಈ ಸುಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಈ ಮಹಾ ಪುರುಷರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನದ ದಿನ  ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸೋಣ"

ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹಾಗು ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆಯ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ ಹೆಗಡೆಯವರು ಅಟಲ್ ಬಿಹಾರಿ ವಾಜಪೇಯಿಯವರ  ಜನ್ಮದಿನದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ  ಘಟಕದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಣಿ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಪಿ ಸಿ ಗದ್ದಿಗೌಡರ, ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರು - ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ,  ಶ್ರೀ ಅಶೋಕ್ ಲಿಂಬಾವಳಿ - ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

"I was elected as MP on two occasions during which I was fortunate to have had closer interaction with Atalji.  My standing for today, stands as a testimonial for the valuable guidance received from Atalji, during those days.  His thoughts, principles continue to inspire today’s youth.  The entire nation joins together in celebrating the birth anniversay of Atalji.  This day is celebrated here with many BJP leaders, general public and paying tribute to the legend who once ruled our country, and it provides immense pleasure and pride to be the part of it.  It is not because he was the prime minister of our country or our party leader, that we respect him but we

bow down for his selfless dedication towards the society and our Motherland.  

Those who were close to Vajpayee had always felt that no power on this earth could dilute his child like innocence.  The purest soul of that humble man remained unchanged, throughout his life.

During any conflicts, Atalji ensured to resolve it in person, without providing any space for ill-feelings.

When I entered politics, it was hard for me to understand the political dynamics taking shape and I was disillusioned on several instances.  Unable to cope with these situations, I had decided to quit and hence resigned form my post.  Atalji called me and told,

"जंग बहुत लंबा हैं हेगड़े जी, इतना जल्दी छोड़ना नही  है, जंग बहुत लंबा हैं|"

I gave a second thought and changed my decision of quitting.

He then advised me -

"आज से ऐसा मत लिखना, लिखना हैं तो इतिहास लिखो |"

When I was elected as MP for the first time, my imagination about parliament was totally different.  Even today I would rather say that I do not belong to the set "politician" tag.  Many citizens of Bagalkot are well aware about this fact.  Today, I got a chance to meet the people of Bagalkot…. The program related to horticulture has been organised.  Sri Gaddigoudar and Sri Ashok Limbavali had told me about this programme earlier in detail and hence I have made my presence, considering such programmes as top priority besides attending the birth anniversary program of this great legend and it gives immense pleasure to see all the BJP leaders gathering at the same place.  

Soon our development centers will be starting in Bagalkot initiated by our ministry.   Its been bit delayed in establishing our centers in Bagalkot and Chickamagaluru.  Yesterday a meet was organised with all the officers to establish a center in Bagalkot as soon as possible.  I want to soon share my views and take the youth of Bagalkot towards skill training.  In coming five months the people's mandate will decide our further move.  Modi-ji should again come back to the power as Prime Minister.  India should have and witness a leader like Modi-ji, who respects our soil immensely.

There will always be two parties in democracy.  One, the ruling and the other, opposition party.  We do not know what will be result of elections.  But whichever party is in  power, it should respect the richness of our soil, our community and our society.  To have such a ruling party at our dispensation,  Modi-ji should come back again to rule the Nation.  This is what the whole world aspires for.  Modi is required for the world more than Indians.

I had been to Vietnam, Singapore and Australia recently with our Hon’ble President.  I was conveyed that in the history of Vietnam, no presidents from any other countries, except China were invited to Vietnam.  During the speech, the President of Vietnam expressed that ‘I would like to convey ultimately that our cultural roots are there in India.' 

The world has changed its vision in looking towards us.  The acceptence of our nation has changed for good.  India should rise with her strong roots of our culture and heritage.  There was an early initiative during the period of Atalji and now Modi government has taken it over.  India should become the beacon of hope for other countries in the coming years.  Now its time for us to become more wise and choose Modi as our next prime minister to achieve some respect in coming years.  With this resolution, let us celebrate the birth anniversary of this legendary personality.”
