(c) to (e):Yes Sir. The B. K. Chaturvedi Committee has estimated that NHAI may require to borrow Rs. 1,91,948 crore during the implementation period with a peak liability of Rs. 71,449 crore. The financing plan as per the B. K. Chaturvedi Committee report has been accepted by the Government with the proviso that the financing plan from 2010-11 onwards would be considered by the Empowered Group of Ministers (EGoM) for further action for implementing the projects without delay.
