Developmental Projects 

2226. Shri Anantkumar Hegde:

Will the Minister of Planning be pleased to state?

(a) whether a number of new developmental projects have been implemented during the last three years in the country;

(b) if so, the details thereof along with the number of new projects launched in the country from April, 2014 to December, 2015 and the total cost of construction of these projects; and

(c) the total amount of funds disbursed for the construction of these projects till December, 2015?

(a) to (c): Yes, Madam, a large number of proposals of developmental projects received from different Ministries/Departments of Government of India during the last three years in the country were appraised by the NITI Aayog ( including erstwhile Planning Commission) for implementation by the line Ministries / Departments. The list of such proposals along with the project cost for the last three years (2012-13 to 2014-15) as well as for the period from April, 2014 to December, 2015 is given in the Annexure I and II respectively.
