THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

[GEN. (DR) V. K. SINGH (RETD)]

(a) to (f) Government has seen reports with regard to China’s involvement in infrastructure building activities in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) including under the so-called ChinaPakistan Economic Corridor. Government’s consistent position is that Pakistan has been in illegal occupation of parts of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir since 1947. Government has conveyed its concerns to China about their activities in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and asked them to cease such activities.
