Will the MINISTER OF PLANNING be pleased to state:

(a) the number and the names of schemes being implemented or funded by the Union Government;

(b) the schemes under which financial assistance is provided to targeted people through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT);

(c) whether there is any proposal to bring all the schemes under DBT; and (d) if so, the facts thereof?

(a) to (d): As on date 87 welfare and subsidy schemes are being reported on Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) platform. Their names are at Annex.

The Government has decided to bring all subsidy and welfare schemes on the DBT platform. DBT Mission has identified about 500 welfare and subsidy schemes to be DBT applicable including above indicated 87 schemes.
