JOINT VENTURE PROJECTS
(a) whether a number of companies have entered into oint venture proects with foreign fertilier manufacturing companies;
(b) if so, the details thereof, company-wise; and
(c) the liely effect of the recent upheaval in the Arabian countries on the said oint venture proects?

JICO, JPMC & ICO 4.8 lakh MT Off take agreement by ICO for off take of Jordan phosphoric entire uantity of phosphoric acid acid to be commiss- ioned

(c) : Since these oint ventures companies wor on purely commercial terms as per international laws and practices, it is epected that there may not be any adverse impact on these companies. However, there may be minor effects in the form of stries, hurdles in operation or availability of raw materials and dispatch of finished product due to disturbances in ocean route from Sue on a temporary basis only.
